Sekayi has over eight years’ experience working in fashion-related content creation with a recent focus on sustainable fashion, as the co-founder of award-winning blog and creative agency, MaFashio Co. She is Innovation Lead at Zambia’s leading corporate innovation and digital transformation firm, BongoHive Consult, where she oversees a team that supports the firm’s clients in building products and services – using strategy, technology and business insights.

Sekayi was named one of Fashion’s ‘Future Voices’ by the Business of Fashion in 2016 and is 1 of 6 storytellers selected to be a part of the ‘Design Futures Project’ in 2020, an initiative of the British Council and TWYG, aimed at encouraging conversations about design and the circular economy. Sekayi is a 2019 Mandela Washington Fellow and is the Country Coordinator of Fashion Revolution Zambia. Ms. Fundafunda holds a BSc in Economics and Finance from the University of Lusaka.
