Ada Ferri, PhD in Chemical Engineering, is Associate Professor at the Department of Applied Science and Technology of Politecnico di Torino (Italy). She is currently Professor and Chair of high-performance fibres for Material Science, within the MSc in Materials Science Engineering at Politecnico di Milano.

Ada has 20 years of experience in textile technology research and innovation, with scientific interests in textile functionalisation, thermo-physiological comfort of sportswear and sustainable dyeing and laundry processes. She collaborates with national and international textile firms in developing industrial research and innovation projects.
