Reader in Material Technology and Design, University of the Arts London

Dr Veronika Kapsali is a Reader in Materials Technology and Design at the University of the Arts London. Veronika’s academic and industry research focuses on the application of biologically informed design principles to advance sustainable practice via innovation in the textile and apparel industry.

Veronika is in receipt of an Arts and Humanities Research Centre (AHRC) leadership fellow in Biomimetic Textiles. Veronika is also the Co-Investigator on the Business of Fashion, Textiles and Technology (BFTT), Creative Industries Clusters Programme, funded by the Industrial Strategy and delivered by the AHRC.
