Inspired by Salomon’s trail running athletes, Rachel developed a sustainable alternative to a fleece mid-layer. Using biomimicry, Rachel explores how animals keep themselves warm in cold climates and regulate their temperature. With innovative knit structures and harnessing the natural properties of wool, Rachel’s garment is lightweight, warm, thermoregulating, moisture wicking and breathable to ensure comfort for long-distance trail running.
